Shell Bay Cottage

Richard and Charlotte Rose would like to welcome you to Shell Bay Cottage bed and breakfast accommodation in Studland, Dorset.

The house is situated on a small secluded private estate, overlooking Studland Bay and the village of Studland, and is surrounded by National Trust land. We have wonderful views over the bay and there is ample off-road parking.

Shell Bay Cottage is ideally located to explore the local area with fine sandy beaches and many walks right on your doorstep. With the Jurassic Coast, Old Harry Rocks, Ballard Down and Swanage all easily accessible from the cottage, there is undoubtedly something of interest for all. We are five minutes from the beach and amenities in the village, where the pub and country house hotel both serve bar meals, dinner and cream teas. There is also a café on Studland beach which serves food all day.

Studland is a small village with the unique charm of being set in the countryside beside the sea. There are 3 miles of safe, sandy beaches, but also spectacular coastal, heath and downland walks. Studland is three and a half miles from the seaside town of Swanage which has steam train links to the village of Corfe Castle, another popular destination with its historic ruins. The larger towns of Bournemouth and Poole, with their many attractions including beaches and shopping, are just nine miles away across the Sandbanks ferry.
